Take Off Your Shoes

 Take off your shoes, Tabilah,
When you enter into my home,
Nor leave a trail of dirt behind
Wherever you may roam.

Slip on the slippers by the door:
Don't sigh and act so tiresome,
And don't behave, my dear friend,
Like a peasant out of Ireland.
